June 23, 2014: Memorandum of Agreement Reached with LDC
The
IBEW Local 2067 Bargaining Committee has reached a Memorandum of
Agreement with Louis Dreyfus Commodities Yorkton Processing GP.
The agreement is being recommedned for acceptance by both committees.

June 12, 2014 : Westmoreland Layoffs for Unit 17
On
June 10, 2014 IBEW Business Office was informed by Westmoreland Coal at
Poplar River Mine that they had performed a long term strategy.
As a result of the strategy Westmoreland made the decsion to remove the
shovels from service and utilize loaders as a result IBEW will lose 6
permanent psoitons at the mine site.
